Someone in the Room

Quick sharing lang. Last dec 08, after our wedding my parents and bro in law all went to sagada which became our semi-honeymoon/family adventure. Together with my wife, nag adventure kami sa mga caves and tourist spots ng sagada. Enjoy kami sa top load ng jeep going from bontoc since we left our car at a friends house in baguio. I had to say bontoc was a creepy place at night. Konti lang ang ilaw at maliit at tahimik ang kalsada. On our way back to manila,we were delayed and had to spend the night at a friend's house in baguio. The house was great. Talagang pang vacation/rest house. Along pataas yung bakuran nya and malawak na mapuno sa labas. We even have a bonfire area sa loob ng bahay/compound.

Later that night, we had to sleep at the 2nd house (below the main house). My wife and I slept in the room while my parents slept in the sala. The place was quiet and very eerie and yes it was cold. Nakabukas yung bintana sa room namin and I didn't had the guts to close it kasi sobrang dilim sa labas. Who knows, baka may humablot sa kamay ko.

At the middle of our sleep, (naku kinilabutan na ko) nagising ang wife ko na parang nagsalita sya. So kinabig ko sya coz i thought nananaginip sya. Sabi nya kung narining ko raw ba sya sumigaw. Sabi ko hindi [ko napansin] dahil ever since tulog mantika ako. Although narining ko sya na parang umungol kaya ko nga sya tinabig. Sabi nya, di nya sure kung nananaginip sya or gising pero parang may tao raw na nakatitig sa amin inside the bedroom beside sa window. Nagulat raw sya at napasigaw dahil parang papalapit ito. It was dark so hindi nya alam kung male or female or what figure, basta alam nya tao ito.

Next thing we did, we opened the door para naman maramdaman namin na hindi kami lang 2 nasa loob since nasa sala ang parents ko. After a few minutes, the door shut close. By itself! We're not sure if it was the wind or what, pero walang hangin and for sule we would have felt it from the window. So nagtalukbong na langkami ni misis at nag-akapan.

The next day, maaliwalas naman. Malamig ang simoy ng hangin at masaya ang paligid. But remembering what happened that night, ayoko na mag stay.

Besides, its new years eve na next day (Dec 31) so we had to rush back to Manila to prep for the New Year.
