It was one sunny, boring, Saturday afternoon. Jeff (not his real name) just got home from his friend's house. He was tired because he and some of his friends played physical games earlier. Jeff is a 3rd year high school student.
So as he entered their house, he went directly to sleeping and he plans to wake up in few hours. Before he sleeps, he thought of one of his classmates who didn't go to their planned meeting that day to play some physical games. It was Leo. One of his closest friends. Leo never missed any of their planned meetings before, that's why it makes Jeff to wonder.
But because he is very tired that day, he set aside thinking about Leo not attending their games. And he slept.
Few hours later, he woke up. He took a shower and dried his hair. Since he has nothing to do, he turned his laptop on and went online on every social networks that he has an account with. He is online on Facebook, Twitter, YM, and Skype.
While reading his wall feeds on Facebook, a pop out notification appeared in the bottom right part of his laptop screen, saying that Leo, his friend, is online on YM. However, Leo isn't online in Facebook or Skype. He is usually online in all three social networks at the same time.
Jeff thought of asking Leo why he didn't attend their games earlier. But Leo messaged him first, quoted "Help me. Come over, please." Leo went offline as soon as he sent the message. He didn't even wait for Jeff's reply.
Puzzled, Jeff wondered what Leo is talking about, why is he in need of a help. He think for a minute what he's going to do next. It's going 6pm already. He decided to come over Leo's house. Leo's house is in the same subdivision as where his house is located.
He got up immediately from the chair and went straight to Leo's house. Probably, 2 crossroads away. When he got to Leo's house. He knocked on the door 2 times, but got no answer. He also noticed that the lights were turned off and there's no sign that there's someone inside.
However, he decided to still go inside. He opened the door, and it's not locked. He entered, turned on the lights. He knows where the switches are located because he usually goes there. There is indeed no one in the living room. He went to the 2nd floor and opened the lights. He entered Leo's room.
And to his surprise, there lie Leo and his mother on the floor. Blood bathing. Leo's mom seems to be hugging Leo till death. Leo's mom has a gun wound at her back. While Leo's got a gun shot in his chest.
Stunned, the temperature around Jeff went frozen cold. He can't move a bit. He is surprised, scared, nervous, and at the same time, like half-dead person because of what he saw. After a few moments, he called the police using the telephone at the living room, trying to calm his voice and trying not to panic.
Few days later, reports from the policemen said that the victims, Leo and his mother, have been at least dead for a day before their bodies were recovered. Jeff sat frozen when their teacher announced the police findings in their classroom saying that Leo and his mom are dead for at least a day when he and the police found them.
How did Leo get online and told him to come over if he is at least dead for a day? Jeff felt haunted.
Later reports said that it's Leo's stepfather who killed him and his mother. The stepfather wasn't caught yet.
