Titik, Kapre, Tikbalang Atbp.

i've heard so many stories about the manananggal and ik ik, i can not say they don't exist. i've only ever heard one before, when my cousins and i decided to investigate during the night. we had a security guard in our house due to thieving neighbors and such, and he said he actually saw one in our roof. i didn't believe him ofcourse. he said he just sat under the tree, and it never saw him. it had huge black wings, half a body, long black hair. so we were all lying in the grass in our garden one nyt, whispering to ourselves, and laughing to some scary-funny-jokes about aswangs. i was actually scared already when we heard a loud "ik ik." we all shut up then, and tried to listen more. it definitely came from way up, not a sound from the ground.. yup i got really scared, i was just a kid. my cousins thought it wasn't real, maybe a trick of the wind. but i knew wat i heard.

i believe in dwendes also, and tikbalangs. then there's also the nuno and the kapre. i can definitely say the kapre is real. there used to be one in our backyard. it fell inlove with one of our maids. our backyard isn't a normal backyard back then. if you go to our roof, you'll see it's like a very steep hill, almost like a 50 to 70 feet cliff then there's a river in the bottom. i used to wish i could climb down but the forrest was thick there so i wasn't allowed, and there's a lot of snakes there too, sometimes they come into the house. so the kapre visited her at night, and when she woke up in the morning she's had dirt in her panties.. it was a long time ago, i was probably still in kindergarten. i just later heard that she went away and gave birth to a dark-skinned baby that had claws and pointy teeth. but it died immediately and they burried it.

then i had this table tennis trainer who told me about this woman she knew who had a suitor who was a tikbalang. it had the head of a horse but the body of a man. i thought he was just playing with me, but there was something about the way he told the story that made me think twice.

and then we have this one maid who's taken care of me and my siblings since we were infants. i love her like a mother and she was like family to us. she didn't hav a reason to lie and i do believe her. she had a what some call the "third eye." my grandma owns a resort, and i was told a lot of ghosts lingered in it. she actually saw one in the dead of night. there was a headless carpenter sawing wood in the backyard making a loud noise and it was see-through. not that she's never saw one before but that's one of the most vivid ones. what truly scared the heck out of me was when she went home one time. she had to cross the river to reach a house of a friend or relative but it was already a bit late. it was dark and she's been walking a long time already when she noticed that she has already seen a particular tree. she got scared then and started walking backwards and ending up with the tree once more. so she kept on walking and then she stumbled upon a hut. there was smoke coming up the house and she could smell something wrong coming from it. she was getting near the house when three women with long black hair, wearing black dresses that reached their feet came out to steer on a big pot where she noticed the smell was coming from. she stopped dead on her tracks and stared. the women were maybe older, she wasn't sure, but their hair covered their faces and they looked dirty somehow and they moved with eerie slowness. they didn't talk and kept on doing what they were doing when they suddenly looked up and stared at her. she turned around and ran. and ran as fast as she could. she doesn't know how she got home then. all she knew was that the road or path was suddenly there and she got to where she was going. this you don't have to believe. but i believed her, and i still do.

i hope u enjoyed the stories. i have one more, but it came from one of our teenage employees so i don't know if it really is REAL.

he was a boyscout then, and they were camping in the mountains. he and his fellow boyscouts were in the woods when they stumbled upon a big black dog, it was tall and had a lithe, slim body, and had eyes that glowed somehow in the dark. what was really weird about its appearance other than how slightly bigger it is than most dogs was it's long tail. i'm not sure what happened, all i remember is that they caught it and tied it's legs and brought it to camp. so morning came and they when they looked at the dog, it wasn't a dog anymore. it was a woman with long black hair, her wrists and feet tied together.

i still don't believe him, but I've heard stories about people turning into big dogs, the only thing that's different about them, i was told, was their long tail and glowing eyes in the dark. my father told me a story about one too, but i don't know if he was for real either.
